RG.016: RF gateway module

The RF gateway module RG.016 can be set via the MEMo2 web server or via a Modbus instruction to work in stand-alone mode. This setting can also be reversed again, see manual.

The RG.016 SA gateway module has:

• 4 binary inputs (counting or time measuring)
• one serial input P1 (DSMR 2.x, 4.x, 5.x) or 2 additional binary inputs via the P1 kit
• a built-in RF868MHz LoRa transmitter receiver
• a Modbus connection
• a power supply connection

In stand-alone mode, the RG.016 module can act as a Modbus slave with the purpose of:

• Convert P1 meter readings and measured values ​​to Modbus telegrams
• Convert pulse inputs to Modbus telegrams
• Make wireless Modbus connections (LoRa) where a wired Modbus is not possible

Note:

• The RG.016 + DR-15-15 = RG.016 SA to hardware and firmware, only the operation is different and you can set this yourself.
