WP.16A/E: WiFi MQTT smart plug registers consumption and switches to injection, peak... from the linked web server

The WP.16A is a "smart energy plug. The plug measures in 2 directions ( plug solar panels) the energy consumption of the coupled consumer and can also switch it on/off. Switching is done manually or automatically via adjustable logic on measured values (if then else), from the linked ELAN, ReMI or MEMo3 webserver, or with the on/off button on the module itself. The plug colors from green to red according to consumption of the connected device. Communication for energy measurement and switching is done wirelessly via WiFi 2.4gHz and then over the Internet to the set MQTT account. You can then link this same MQTT account to one or more 2-Wire web servers (LoWi3, ReMI, ELAN and/or MEMo3) and thus to PowerFlow and the HTML APPs LoRe or SmartEnergies, or to your own app or your own cloud application. That way the plug is read, logged and switched from anywhere in the world. Please note, with the LoWi3 you can only read and log consumption, not switch. The MQTT license is for 1 installation(IP location)/1 year.

Comments:

• For this plug to work, you need an MQTT license to link to your LoWi3, ReMI, ELAN and/or MEMo3 web server that way. Although you can set up your own MQTT server, we recommend that the average user choose the one from 2-WIRE. • Via the logic in the linked web server, you can automatically switch your plug device (solar panel, boiler, pump, electric auxiliary heating, ...) on injection, peak, dynamic tariff, weekly clock, daily consumption, ... And track your current and historical consumption via the web server. So you maximize, almost plug&play, your own consumption of solar energy. Payback time is expressed here in months.
