P1 port wireless extender

The set P1 Wireless solution provides wireless transmission of the P1 output on the smart meter to a second P1 dongle a few tens of meters away.

Operation:

Connect the P1 IN dongle (white) to the smart meter using the RJ12 cable provided. For new smart meters, the power supply from the smart meter is sufficient. The dongle will flash. Connect the P1 OUT dongle (black) via a usb c cable to a USB power source(not included). If you hold the P1 OUT dongle within 1 meter of the P1 IN dongle it will pair automatically. This can be seen as the constant flashing changes to solid blue with occasional blinks. From now on the P1 OUT port will give exactly the same signal as the smart meter.

• Functions on DSMR 4 and 5 meters throughout the EU (DSMR 2 meters are not supported)
• Has a maximum range of about 100 meters (if no obstacles are present)
• The P1 OUT always transmits the data. The declining device has no control over when a message is sent
• Auto reconnect: if the connection is lost it will be set up again
• A LoWi3, ReMI, ELAN , MoCo2 or a proprietary P1 module can be connected to the P1 OUT

• P1 IN: NO separate power supply needed, power comes from the P1.
• P1 OUT: this module needs external power via USB-C power supply ( not included)
