ELAN is a data logger web server that connects to the local network via LAN and provides detailed monitoring of both total consumption via P1, and partial consumption via Modbus, pulse or IoT(meters at other locations).

In addition, ELAN has two smart-grid-ready outputs that can be connected, via additional power relays or not, to devices such as heat pump, boiler, accumulation heating and EV charger or other large consumers.

These outputs can pass different modes (low/eco/high/boost), a solar contact, or an on/off mode based on adjustable logic, or manual control via the ELAN web server.

How does it work:
ELAN continuously records various parameters such as consumption, injection, quarter peak, clock, energy tariff (day/night) and dynamic prices…
These parameters can serve to automatically switch the two contacts, or connected IoT smartplugs via simple IF-THEN-ELSE and AND/OR logic.
The effect of the set logic can then be easily monitored and possibly adjusted via the web browser on any smartphone or tablet.

Application in commercial projects:
In commercial projects, ELAN can be used as an energy data collector to various cloud platforms, or to offer flexibility through a service provider.

Installation:
The ELAN web server receives power from the P1(or 5VDC external). Configuration and monitoring can be done from any web browser on any platform. Data storage is done locally with upload capability to IoT via MQTT(s) and http.

Sub-meters:
The module can be interfaced via Modbus plug&play with the 2-WIRE energy meters for measuring sub-consumers.

MQTT server year license

ELAN works autonomously with local data storage, and visualization and configuration via its internal web server, i.e. independent of a cloud and platform independent.

However, with an optional MQTT license there are additional possibilities: backup of your configuration (no measurement data/histories), smart switching on dynamic tariff, remote access via the html app “LoRe” (only visualization, no configuration), 2-way communication with other 2-WIRE web servers and smart plugs,…

A license for one year can be ordered on this website under ‘products’.

2-WIRE Server Scanner version 3.8

The latest version of the 2-WIRE server scanner is now available and can be downloaded and installed for free on your Windows PC here. With this tool you can easily display the IP addresses of all 2-WIRE web servers (LoWi, ReMI, ELAN, MiLo, MEMo and MEGA) within your network. With the found IP address, you then surf to the local Web site in the ELAN module.

For web servers with a LAN connection (ELAN, MEMo, MEGA), you can change the IP settings directly from the server scanner. For WiFi web servers, the IP and WiFi settings are changed from the access point web page.

In addition, the server scanner also shows the IP settings of your PC and you can test whether an IP address is still free. Thus, you can easily determine a free and fixed IP address for your 2-WIRE web server.
