P1 Energy DISplay

The energy display communicates wirelessly via WiFi-MQTT with the LOWi3 web server, which reads real-time data from the P1 port of your digital meter. Measured values such as (peak) power, consumption (import/export), gas and water are displayed directly and live on the Energy Display.

The EDIS display is always ON and can serve as a tabletop device or mounted on the wall. Always 'live' view of your (peak) consumption, current (dynamic) rate, weather and time.

Users can set their own limits for peak power, daily consumption and yield of electricity and gas. Once these limits are exceeded, a warning pop-up appears on the screen.

Through the monthly graphs, historical electricity consumption and yield, as well as gas and water consumption for the previous and current year can be viewed. These values are read in from the linked web server.

The settings page allows users to configure preferred settings such as channels, limits, graph scale, layout and location for the weather forecast in addition to Wi-Fi data.

• Day and month consumption from digital meter (Import, export, Gas) + adjustable limit daily consumption (Import, export, Gas)
• Day-ahead prices (Dynamic rate) in Euro/MWh of today and tomorrow.
• Outdoor temperature, humidity , wind direction and speed.
• Weather forecast next 5 days
• History of monthly consumption of electricity, injection, gas and water this year and last year
• Preconfigured: only LoWi3 and ELAN pairing with WiFi and MQTT remains to be done.
• Real-Time: every 5 sec. (quarter) power update
• Charts: Resolution 1 month/2 years
• Linking over IoT with web servers other than the included LoWi3 is possible with an additional MQTT annual license and a LoWi3, ELAN, ReMI web server.

Comments:

1. Pre-activate the Belgian digital meters to work: via this link If the digital meter screen shows a triangle above "GP1" (GP1 is in laser marking below the screen) then ports P1 and S1 are active.
2. LoWi3 is powered via the P1 port, EDIS7" is powered via a USB-C 5VDC power supply (not included).
3. The MQTT from the set 'EDIS7+LoWi3+MQTT' works WITHOUT subscription and serves here ONLY for the MQTT connection between both modules from the set.
4. Adjusting network settings can :
   • For LoWi3 : via the re-direct page (See LoWi3 Tutorial and manual)
   • For EDIS7 : via display (WiFi SSID and password) , Token via the IP server scanner ( See EDIS7 manual)
