EMM.630 CT-MID: Energy Meter 3F on 1A/5A CT, MID, Modbus+pulse

The 3F Energy Meter with 1A/5A CT is an advanced 3-phase energy meter with a direct connection to the power grid for measuring reference voltages and 3 terminals for connecting the 1A/5A CTs, allowing for the measurement of loads with >, and 100A. The meter is configured using the touch-sensitive buttons on the front panel and the LCD display. The bidirectional measurement tracks consumption on single-phase, 3x230V, or 3x380V+N power supplies. Both active and reactive power are measured. Consumption values can be viewed on the display or on the connected web server. The module is housed in a 4-module-wide DIN rail enclosure. In addition to an RS485 connection, this energy meter also has 2 pulse outputs, 1 of which is configurable.

Configuring the meter via the display:

To access the meter's setup menu, press and hold the bottom touch button until “password” appears. The default password is 1000. Use the up and down arrow keys (the second and third buttons) to change the first digit; press E briefly to move to the second digit; and press and hold the E button to confirm. Once logged in, you’ll see “set addr”; in the same way, you can now adjust the Modbus address and confirm by pressing and holding the E key a little longer. Next, press the down arrow to move to the next setup line and continue configuring the meter.

The same applies to the values of the coil to be connected. Here, you must set the secondary current to 1A or 5A, as well as the multiplication factor = primary-to-secondary current ratio

In the video below, we connect a CT-T16-100/1A current transformer. So here, Set Ct2=1A, and the multiplication factor from 1A to 100A is 100, so Ct rAtE= 0100.

ATTENTION: This setting can only be changed once!!
